A press meeting was held at Dehra Dun on 8th May 2009. Nearly 100 reporters of news papers and TV channels were present.
Maj Gen (Retd) Chander Nandwani briefed the correspondents on aspects relating to the IESM movement and our best bet to vote for BJP/NDA, who have assured the ex-servicemen of implementing OROP within 100 days of coming to power.
The voting in Uttarakhand is due to be held on 13 May 2009. The media (Dailies & TV Channels) has adequately covered the deliberations and carried the message of IESM to all corners of Uttarakhand. Scanned copy of news item in Garhwal Post is forwarded for your information.
