You are absolutely right.
IESM and 'Report My Signals' pressure is working. Hats off to Gen Kadyan
.... edited ...along with a lot of other dedicated ex servicemen.
If some veterans have doubts about them it is possibly due to previous sad experiences, where leaders of other groups might have not come up to their expectations.
No wonder politicians and bureaucrats are trying to encourage dissent once again and some ESM are falling in their traps. Luckily they are being exposed by their own colleagues who know them better. Perhaps this will discourage others.
People don't seem to realise that the biggest problem is lack of unity of the ESM. Leaders who cannot realise this and cannot place ESM interests above their organisations, even temporarily, are obviously unfit to be leaders of any stature. These are my views. IESM leaders should simply ignore them.
I think the Chiefs have contributed. What is your assessment? in particular Admiral Suresh Mehta followed by Deepak. The present Air Chief should be far better (case of a naik being better than a major!!)
