I fully endorse your views. Indian politics is totally driven by pressure groups, to wit see all the political parties running around to build groups where numbers only count. 273 the magic number. We in the services have allowed ourselves to be illtreated BECAUSE we never acted as a group. We also thought loyalty to the State means subservience to the politicians & they took us for granted. For the first time ESM community has stood up for their genuine rights as a united group : results are their for all to see.
Unity is the Mantra.
