It was Brig JP Singh, Signals, a Veteran at Secunderabad, who collected a large sum from civilians, and presented it to IESM on 15th Feb 2011, the Signal Corps Centenary Day.
He virtually went around with a hat in his hand, in and around Hyderabad/ Secunderabad, to ensure that maximum possible collection are made for the forthcoming rally of IESM.
While many a veterans also responded most sympathetically to my appeal – majority did not respond at all; it is a pity - any way I assure YOU ALL, ‘i’ will continue to respond to all your demands.
On behalf of YOU ALL, ‘i’ thank Brig JP Singh for his great effort.
‘i’ also thank all the Veterans, who very generously responded to my appeal for contributions for the IESM Rally on 06 Mar 11.
Thank you SIRS. Without your generosity – funding for the rally would have been very difficult.
